Welcome to the NZX Sharemarket Challenge!

The Challenge is NZX's online portfolio tool which allows you to use a set amount of ‘virtual cash' to buy and sell shares which are listed on NZX's markets. The Challenge allows all users (including students, first time investors and experienced investors) to:

• Create a virtual share portfolio.
• Trial different portfolio strategies over time.
• Learn more about the sharemarket.
• Follow the progress of shares without purchase.
• Pit their knowledge against other competitors and the market.

This year NZX is running two variations of the Challenge (the ‘Portfolio Challenge' and the ‘Trader Challenge') which are designed to offer you more flexibility than in previous years. Registration for either Challenge is only NZ$30 (incl GST) per syndicate.
